I'm Joe.

I am a millennial and my main focuses are sports, craft beer and cultural/media/technological/business-world happenings.  This site will serve as place to voice my opinions about those topics.

I believe that this is, by-far, the best time to be alive, as the world is ever-changing and as a species we are more advanced now than at any other point in human history (duh).  I am a firm believer in science and math, which means I believe: Dinosaurs once roamed the Earth; the theory of Evolution; and that the Earth's global temperature is rising at an alarming rate due (mainly) to carbon emissions from humans... if you do not believe the same, please do not reach out to me to try and persuade me; talking to you about these topics will only make me angry.  I am what you would call an environmentalist as I believe we should leave the Earth in better shape than when we got here... and yes, it is difficult for me to walk by a piece of trash without picking it up and putting it in either a recycling container or trash can.

The above picture is of my beautiful girlfriend and I (ignore the guy behind us) at one of my favorite events of the year: The Voracious and Rare Beer Festival, put on by Lighthouse Beer and Wine.
